Day in the Life of a Hardware Engineer
Fluke Engineering in Poland is established and performing. We are involved in multiple New Product Introductions and Sustaining programs across Fluke’s wide portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to join an engaged team and contribute to the development of the world’s most recognized measurement products.
As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will be developing, improving, and maintaining electronics designs of Fluke meters, testers or calibrators. As part of a multi-functional project team, you will design and analyze critical analog circuits for customer applications. You will have opportunities to specialize in a subject area, but also may be exposed to many other technologies.
Responsibilities
Responsible for designing cost-effective circuitry to high performance and quality, based on precision analog and digital circuit technology.
Prepare proposals of cost and time estimates to meet completion dates and technical specifications.
Participate in preparing documentation such as schematic diagrams, test procedures, theory of operation, purchased part lists, instruction manuals, and related information.
To conduct functional, performance, environmental, and safety tests of new designs or modify existing designs.
Maintain current knowledge regarding new developments and trends in applicable engineering areas in support of assigned work in either sustaining engineering or new product development.
Your Team
You will be working with our cross functional engineering team in Wroclaw, Poland, as a key part of Fluke’s engineering organization. You will have a close working relationship with Fluke’s technical experts around the globe.

Experience
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree; in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar field
Deep understanding of electronic principles, familiarity with precision analog circuits and digital circuit technology.
Experience with circuit simulations and error analysis is a plus.
Experience with ECAD design tools, usage of Cadence tools is a plus.
Experience with embedded microcontroller and microprocessor-based systems.
