As an Autowafer Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production of capital equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and performance of our equipment. Responsibilities:
Crating and uncrating of sensitive electronic machinery, mechanical and electrical system assembly, basic documentation, investigatory troubleshooting and enacting appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot problems, identify root cause, and implement improvements.
Help maintain and improve existing training documentation for future technicians
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues related to semiconductor equipment including:
Robotic handling system
Multi-axis motion control system
Electric wiring harness and control and monitoring systems
Linear Motion
Pneumatics
Controls
Plumbing sub-systems, including knowledge in:
Compressed/N2 air/ vacuum lines, valves, sensors
PC build and standard SW/Firmware loading
Qualifications:
Display proficiency in a variety of Electrical and Mechanical systems to perform high-level troubleshooting of complex systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
Experience reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics.
Knowledge of robotics and control systems (preferred).
Excellent collaboration and communication skills (Written, Verbal).
Project management experience.
Ability to build clear and concise training materials.
