Fortive Corporation Senior Manager Global Supply Chain in Spartanburg, South Carolina

Anderson-Negele is seeking a Senior Manager of Global Supply Chain to join our team. This position serves as a critical role to Anderson-Negele by leading strategic sourcing and procurement organization to ensure strategies, best practices and use of common tools are deployed globally to meet QDCI objectives.

In this role you will:

  • Hire, development and retain top talent supply chain professionals.

  • Develops a structure that supports needed capacity, capabilities, and competitiveness.

  • Oversea and direct all aspects of strategic sourcing that deliver to OMX while ensuring QDCI objectives are achieved.

  • Ensure use of best practices and tools across business in achieving performance expectations.

  • Stay current on new processes, techniques, and supplier capabilities using Fortive Business System (FBS) tools while ensuring leverage across operating units.

  • Maintain effective alignment between site procurement and strategic procurement initiatives / objectives.

  • Ensure supplier development programs address supply continuity concerns and lean initiatives.

  • Identify and implement key changes to the global supply chain that result in operations improvement.

  • Develop Sourcing strategies and plans in collaboration with other Fortive operating companies to best leverage spend and supplier value.

  • Conduct market analysis to assess environmental conditions to determine a “buy best” approach evaluating value beyond price (e.g. Innovation, Growth, Life-Cycle Costs, Working Capital, and Capex) while ensuring material continuity and minimizing supply risk management objectives.

  • Oversee the design, implementation, management, and monitoring of procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements.

  • Identify, select, and develop a high-performance supply base that supports the operating objectives.

  • Deliver year-over-year cost savings (5 to 8%) while creating an environment that demands and expects sustainable results.

  • Develop agreements to ensure contractual coverage over large spend categories. Oversee all contracts, bids, proposals, and supplier agreements for legal correctness, regulatory compliance, price, and acceptability of items to specifications.

  • Enforce corporation policies regarding the ethical conduct of purchasing activities.

  • Conduct business reviews with key suppliers to discuss performance, development, and growth opportunities.

    On your first day, we’ll expect that you’ll have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of experience, Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience; experience includes 10+ years managing people.

  • Experience must include 7+ years lean experience in a global operation.

  • Building strong, effective, and diverse organizations.

  • Create followership through collaboration.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Experience with microelectronics components strongly desired.

National: The salary range for this position is $109,500 - $203,500

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
