Fortive Corporation Field Application Engineer in Seoul, South Korea

Our Field Applications Engineer is responsible for performing duties to provide technical support to Tektronix personnel and customers. The engineer provides customer and sales force assistance by answering questions and resolving technical issues regarding products, solutions and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for pre- and post-sales applications support in the assigned product portfolio, market segments and sales territories

  • To assist in providing Spectrum analyzer’s technical support and business initiatives with RF background, and contribute to develop new value-added applications

  • To leverage unique strengths, features and addressing points of Oscilloscope and Signal source products

  • To keep the position of company as the best solution supplier in Oscilloscope and Spectrum Analyzer related market

  • To provide first level problem identification, analysis and recovery, while relay the status of the customers' technical issues to Product Line and Marketing

  • To provide pre-sales support of company products and systems by resolving and coordinating the resolution of product issues (Problem documentation, notification and escalation)

  • To help customers understand and enhance products operations and applications

    Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or related major preferred.

  • Knowledge of HSSD, RF related application like EMC, wireless communication. As optional, digital transceivers, digital interfaces related consumer devices and power devices.

  • Experience for measuring, testing of DUT and Equipment related with Digital and RF signal

  • Ability to deal with concurrent problems and issues optimally -be customer oriented and highly cognizant of the importance of customer support

  • To work optimally with cross-functional teams and be flexible enough to learn different skill sets and adapt to highly dynamic work environment and schedules

  • Strong self-motivation and interpersonal skills, logical thinking

  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
