Fortive Corporation Interface Analyst in Remote, United States

Job Summary:

The Interface Analyst for the Provation software suite has primary responsibility for designing, building and implementing the interfaces required for successful ProVation product implementations. Interface Analyst activities also include working collaboratively with client and internal personnel to meet project scope and timelines while providing excellent customer service; troubleshooting and resolving implementation issues in a wide range of complex environments with respect to systems configurations; providing thorough documentation and training to the client and on-going support teams; and representing Provation within the industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interface implementations at client sites, including large, multiple location hospital systems

  • Gather information about the client and their systems to understand needs and capabilities

  • Create and review the specifications and obtain agreement with the client team

  • Conduct gap analyses to determine the interface customizations required for each project

  • Complete data and interface mapping

  • Design, build and configure the required interfaces

  • Conduct and/or support the client with all phases of the testing – to include communications testing, data content testing, functional testing, integrated testing

  • Identify, track, and accurately document implementation issues and bring to closure

  • Be an advocate for the client and Provation staff throughout the implementation of the ProVation software, escalate issues when applicable to ensure timely resolution

  • Work collaboratively and directly with clients and internal resources to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations and minimize customer impacts

  • Ensure a clean and effective post-implementation hand-off to the external client and internal support teams

  • The individual may be exposed to private and confidential information, including personal health information, and is expected to adhere to company policies and all relevant laws regarding handling of such information

  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Two-year technical degree in Information Systems/MIS, Computer Science, or related field of study; or 3 years’ experience in implementing and/or supporting industry standard interface and EDI concepts (e.g., HL7, ANSI, TCP/IP)

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems/MIS, Computer Science, or related field of study; or 6 years’ experience in implementing and/or supporting industry standard interface and EDI concepts (e.g., HL7, ANSI, TCP/IP)

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • Project management

  • Software implementation methodology

  • Understanding of application, data, and systems integration

  • HL7 standards

  • Mirth

  • Object oriented concepts

  • Relational database management knowledge

The salary range for this position (inclusive of sales incentives/commission) is $54,100.00 - $100,500.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
