Fortive Corporation Channel Sales Account Executive in Remote, United States

Job Overview: Gordian is seeking a highly motivated Sales Channel Representative with a proven track record to expand and grow our network of channel partners, drive revenue and pipeline growth. The position requires a candidate with a strong background in channel sales, partner relationship management, and a solid understanding of complex channel sales engagements. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the unique needs of facility asset management leaders. This role requires a strategic thinker with a consultative approach who can build and maintain strong external partner relationships, collaborate with field sales colleagues and other internal cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage relationships with existing channel partners, ensuring their needs are fully enabled to position the value of our offerings to their customers.

· Achieve set targets and quotas for bookings, revenue, pipeline growth and other related activity metrics.

· Identify and recruit new channel partners to expand our market reach and contribute to revenue growth.

· Collaborate with partners to develop and execute business plans that drive partner sales and profitability.

· Serve as the liaison between channel partners and internal teams, such as field sales, RFP response team and other internal cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated efforts and successful sales strategies.

· Provide ongoing training and support to channel partners on product offerings, sales techniques, and marketing initiatives.

· Facilitate and manage the sales funnel and qualification of sales opportunities, ensuring a smooth handoff to field sales representatives.

· Utilize Salesforce CRM to track partner activity, pipeline growth, funnel health, sales engagements and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

· Develop and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate partner performance and identify areas for improvement.

· Participate in applicable industry events to strengthen relationships and stay current with market trends.

· Provide regular feedback to management on market intelligence, competitive analysis, and partner feedback to inform strategic decisions.

· Develop and define territory plan, prospecting strategies, deal plans, and client action plans within assigned territory.

· Coordinate with Business Development Representative team to create effective target lists and territory strategy.

· Coordinate with operational and sales support groups to ensure successful implementation and delivery of solution.

· Identify cross-sell opportunities.

· Develop and maintain an expert level of knowledge of company solutions and competition in the market.

· Utilize FBS (Fortive Business Systems) tools and practices.

· Participate in ongoing training to increase professional growth and job effectiveness.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.

· Minimum of 3 years' experience in channel sales or partner management.

· Demonstrated success in managing and growing a partner network.

· Strong understanding of sales processes and funnel management.

· Understand complex enterprise buying cycles and coordination of cross-functional teams.

· Ideal candidate would have experience with facilities planning and construction.

· Experience working with cross-functional teams, especially RFP, product, and marketing departments.

· Proficient in Salesforce CRM and sales analytics tools.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

· Ideal candidate would have familiarity with cooperative purchasing.

· Ideal candidate would have experience with public and private sector procurement practices.

· Metrics-driven with a knack for tracking success and achieving sales targets.

· Willingness to travel as required to meet business goals.

Working Conditions: The Sales Channel Representative may be required to travel to meet with partners, attend conferences, and participate in training events. This role may also include remote work and collaboration with geographically dispersed teams.

The salary range for this sales position (inclusive of sales incentives/commissions) is $161,100.00 - $299,100.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
