Fortive Corporation Sales Analyst in Remote, Illinois

About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and diligent individual to join our diverse team as a Sales Analyst. In this key role, you will play a crucial part in driving our sales strategy, performance, and overall business success. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical proficiency, outstanding communication skills, and a keen understanding of sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into key performance indicators for the sales team, as well as general analytics for sales funnel and bookings.

  • Collaborate with sales leaders to analyze individual and team performance, helping to optimize strategies for increased sales efficiency.

  • Leverage Power BI and dashboards to understand trends and metrics associated with Sales Performance (CRM Funnel Management)

  • Forecasting and Planning:

  • Assist in the development of sales and market analysis, by analyzing historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors.

  • Provide recommendations for adjustments to sales plans based on data-driven insights.

  • Market Research:

  • Cross functional collaboration to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to supply valuable insights to the sales strategy.

  • Cross functional collaboration to support and analyze research on customer behavior, preferences, and demographics to support targeted sales approaches.

  • Sales Process Optimization:

  • Evaluate and improve sales processes, identifying areas for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and streamline workflows to drive efficiencies by applying continuous improvement strategies (Fortive Business System or FBS toolbox).

  • Data Management:

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of sales data by regularly auditing and cleansing databases.

  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance data quality and accessibility.

  • Ad Hoc Analysis:

  • Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from sales leadership and other partners, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5 years validated experience as a Sales Analyst or in a similar analytical role.

  • Experience using data modeling software, such as Power BI to build visualization of data.

  • Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques, with advanced Excel skills.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and other sales-related software.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present sophisticated data in a clear and understandable manner.

  • Thorough, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and multifaceted environment.

National: The salary range for this position is $54,100 - $100,500

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
