The PSEMC internship program provides an opportunity to work on real projects with real impact on space exploration, homeland security and the nation’s defense.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generating Test Procedures

• Updating Test Procedures to current Standards

• Generating Test Schedules

• Generating Test Reports

• Creating New Test Fixtures for support Shock and Vibration

• Supporting Test Engineers

• Confers with engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems, such as product or system malfunctions, equipment problems, incomplete test data, and/or data interpretation

• Interface with sub-contractor representatives to ensure that PSEMC requirements and schedules are met

• Supporting proposal generation

• Supporting production kick off and close out

  Education Required:

  Working on BS in Electrical, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering

  Preferred Experience:

• SolidWorks

• MS Office Suite

• Oscilloscopes, DMM, Function Generator, and Pressure Sensors

• Basic electronic skills (Ohm’s Law)

• Mechanically Inclined

  Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift 50 lbs.
