The Strategic Business and Contracts Manager serves as Tektronix Component Solutions’ point of contact for all matters relating to sustaining business and contract management, and Order Management. This individual must be well organized, able to make strategic decisions, and possess strong leadership skills. They have the responsibility to help strengthen, grow and support current customer relationships and interface, negotiate contract price and terms and conditions with the customer. In addition, this individual will effectively team with functional departments (e.g. manufacturing, operations, engineering, and test).

Responsibilities:

Oversee a team that manages all current customer relationships, growth strategy, order management, and contract agreements for the organization.

Lead all sustaining business relationships and growth strategy:

  • Supporting all QBRs, scorecards, and action plans

  • Lead proposal team through completion process and submittal to customer.

  • Help team in creating and managing account plans, growth strategies and objectives for current customers

  • Assist with transition of Business Development work to Business Managers for production

Support all LTA/MOA revisions and negotiations (knowledgeable in FARS/DFARS and flow downs):

  • Actively work with legal to provide input for all contractual documentation/matters (LOA, Stop work orders, contractual alignment letters, etc)

  • Prepares all contractual forms for proposals or customer requests (Commerciality, Small Business, CMMC, etc)

  • Ensure all incoming/outgoing formal customer communications align with government contract regulations

  • Lead contract strategy discussions to assess and protect the company’s interests and risk management strategies with the support of the Business Managers

Lead Order Management Team:

  • Support hiring process to fill current open positions

  • Build stability in new hires and create cross training plan

  • Responsible for PO acceptance and execution metrics

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or related field

  • 2+ years of Management experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience with Government Contracts including a validated understanding of the FAR/DFARs

  • Experience with pricing and proposal development.

  • Consistent record of negotiating large, sophisticated contracts of varying types

  • Strong written and verbal communication skill and ability to efficiently team in a cross-functional setting

  • Experience in Semi-conductor or similar service business preferred.
