Job Description

Come join our IT team as an IT Developer! As a member of our innovative team, you will develop software for custom solutions used internally by the LANDAUER business and externally by our customers. In this role, you will be part of our extraordinary IT development team supporting our manufacturing, shipping, and lab areas. This position will focus on bringing craftsmanship and innovation to the development of a range of applications from machinery to data analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multi-functional project teams in the development of new and existing systems.

• Interact and work proactively with cross-functional business analysts to understand application requirements.

• Re Engineer or Re design existing Legacy to new tech stack.

• Follow shop coding standards and best practices associated to our SDLC process.

• Understand and follow Scrum/Agile development methodology.

Qualifications:

3 or more years of application development experience with proficiency in:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent with programming experience

• 3+ years of experience developing VB.Net and/or C# applications

• Proficiency in SQL Server including creating Data models, querying data using stored procedures, views, SSIS and entity framework

• Understanding of MVC Libraries, WCF and muti-tier architecture

• Experience working across UI (Knowledge React is a plus), service layers, and backend technologies to create server-driven native and web-based solutions. In-depth knowledge of web-service/Micro Services/data-driven application architecture

• Experience with Confluence and Jira

• Experience with SVN and Git

• Experience with developing communication interfaces between application software and machine PLC code is a plus.
