We're seeking a Commercial Strategy Manager with a specialized focus on key accounts and strategic execution (policy deployment) to lead our new product launches and drive revenue growth. This multifaceted role combines strategic planning, key account management, policy deployment, and product marketing to ensure the successful introduction and adoption of our latest offerings in the market.

You will drive meeting and exceeding growth targets; training, and motivating the sales team and channel partners, driving strategies to accelerate growth, and identifying and delivering new business opportunities. The position will report to the Director, Direct Sales and Strategy.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies tailored to key accounts, aligning with overall business objectives and new product initiatives.

  • Utilize policy deployment methodologies to cascade strategic goals throughout the organization and ensure alignment from top management to frontline teams.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product development, and finance teams to integrate key account strategies into broader business plans.

  • Key Account Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and understanding their unique needs and challenges.

  • Drive account growth by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Develop account-specific business plans, forecasting revenue projections, and monitoring performance metrics to track progress and optimize strategies.

  • New Product Launches:

  • Lead the commercialization of new products within key accounts, developing go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and promotional campaigns.

  • Employ policy deployment principles to ensure that new product launch objectives are communicated effectively throughout the organization and implemented with precision.

  • Develop and deliver compelling sales enablement materials, including presentations, training programs, and product demos to support key account sales.

  • Results Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of commercial strategies and track the success of new product launches.

  • Utilize policy deployment frameworks to monitor progress towards strategic objectives, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Generate regular reports and insights dashboards to communicate key findings, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to senior management.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a concentration in a technical field preferred and validated experience in relationship management, metrics, technical sales, preferably test and measurement.

  • Outstanding communication (both verbal and written), listening, and executive presentation skills.

  • Experience developing key accounts.

  • Experience inspiring change, integration, and results.

  • Effective listening and partnership skills.

  • Ability to develop tactics driving stated corporate and regional strategies.

  • Experience in continuous improvement and policy deployment.

  • Creative, objective and possess a high level of integrity.

  • Self-motivated, responsible, detail oriented, and skilled at multi-tasking.

  • Experience with value-selling technical products and proficiency in commercial and industrial business.

  • Ability to travel (60%+) and live within assigned territory.

National: The salary range for this position is $86,100 - $159,900

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
